Rinse the cod fillets, pat them dry, and cut into large chunks. Set aside.

In a large pot, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and garlic, and cook until softened.

Stir in drained haricot beans and pour in the fish stock or water. Bring to a simmer and cook for 10 minutes.
